About

Saint Mike Node is a community born in Tegucigalpa and open to people from every background: deeply technical and non-technical alike, developers, students, and the curious who want to share ideas, learn, and build things together.

We take our name from Saint Michael the Archangel, patron of the city. Whatever you believe, we hold on to what he stands for: showing up, protecting those who need it, and taking the side of what is right. His motto, “Quis ut Deus?” (who is like God?), is a question that reminds us no one stands above anyone else. Believer or not, those are values worth following when building technology and community.

What we do

  1. Meetups

Short talks and conversation among people who code, to get to know each other and learn from one another.

  2. Workshops

Hands-on sessions to learn a tool, a language, or a technique, laptop open.

  3. Builder nights

Evenings to move personal or shared projects forward, with help close at hand.

  4. Mentorship

Pairing people who are starting out with people who have walked the road.

Next meetup

Our first meetup: an evening to meet each other, share what we are working on, and plan what comes next. Open to everyone, whether you code or not.
